My thoughts on Need For Speed

Okay, so to all my gaming geeks, which is about 1-2 people, this week I will be talking about the reason I got into gaming. Need For Speed, racing games are my favorite type of game. There is so much action and it is very fast pace, most people play them just because to have fun and mess around. I mean don't get me wrong, I love messing around and playing with my friends that I play to get gold on every single race and every single mission. And I can't settle for second I'll try and try again until I get first, it's just the way I am.

My favorite game is need for speed Most Wanted, the original one created in 2005. I had a special version called "Black Edition," it gave you a some really cool extra cars you could only get buy getting this special edition, a few new maps and an extra mission. It also had my favorite car the BMW M3 GTR. That was the only car I used, original paint and everything (you can see it on my dashboard in the background).

Need For Speed Underground 2 was my second favorite mainly because of all the cool customizations you could add to your cars. This is where I got a lot of my favorite cars from, it had all the latest and hottest cars out there and I could take any one of them and customize it to my liking. You could customize everything from the paint job to what kind of speakers you want to put in the back of your trunk. This game was insane it had all the greatest ideas!

Another one of my favorites is Need For Speed Most Wanted (2012). They brought back my most favorite Need For Speed game, and at first I didn't like it because they took a way the storyline. Need for speed was known for their storylines and they took it out. However, they did bring back free-roaming as a major part of the game. They also added new things you could customize, like the tires, chassis and body type. The sad part was that they took away the ability to change the body of the car or ever the rims, that was a huge negative for me. Criterion Games did add in their idea of being able to take down your opponent, which they took from the series Burnout.

Overall I think the Need For Speed franchise has been decreasing in quality, but the physics of the game are getting better. Other than the fact that you can jump ridiculously high and not die when you land (by the way, never take that out).
Gotta love it ^

Terraria 2

On October 3, 2013 designer Andrew "Redigit" Spinks announcer that he was working on the sequal in the Terraria series, Terraria 2. Redigit would no longer be working on improving the original Terraria. But he is leaving the original Terraria with a huge final update.

Most people were upset about Redigit not continuing the first Terraria but I, however, think it is a great idea because Terraria is limited in many ways. Also a cool thing Redigit has been working on in Terraria 2 in infinite worlds. Now i cant go into very much detail about it because there really isn't much that Redigit has told us, but here is a link that can describe more in depth what Redigit is planing to do.

Redigit also plans to try and get it on all the consoles and portables other than the 3DS. Sadly the 3DS is not compatible with it, I would love to have in on the 3DS, since i play mine a lot, but Terarria just isn't made for consoles, in my opinion. So the whole console thing doesn't really appeal to me.  I was hoping to find out more on Terraria 2 but he really hasn't released much at all.
